Default Jump Seating on Qatar Air

Does anyone have any experience jumpseating on Qatar Air Lines? And willing to share your experience.

Good luck on that. I don't think you can jumpseat on them unless your airline specifically has some type of agreement with them and even then good luck.

Default Jumpseats

Jumpseating is basically an American thing, here in the Gulf there is no such thing, we can't even jumpseat on our own carrier much less on some body else's aircraft. We have "informal" jumpseats that we give away but you must be ticketed, these seats are the rest seats we have blocked for ULR ops but are not occupied for takeoff and landing (and most the flight) but if they are made available you need to be ready to move to a cabin jumpseat if a crew member wishes to sit and eat or watch a movie while on rest break. We also give out cabin jumpseats for applicants coming for an interview if the flight is overbooked though this is rare.
