US Pilots at foreign airlines experiences
Just curious of some people's experiences and thoughts of working for a foreign airline?
Some questions:
Is the language factor a huge issue (atc, mx, dispatch, rampies)
How hard is in on your personal life if you still live in the states?
Do you prefer the US or overseas?
Does it pay well in relation to the amount of work required
Is it as safe as the domestic market (I'm guessing in Europe its similar, but some of the BFE carriers)
Any other comments are appreciated. Like I said I'm just curious because the only int'l experience I have is Canada which is pretty much the same except more noise abatement procedures.

2. I still have a ton of my things in the STATES, I go back anytime I get vacation time, personal life isn't an issue, have my friends in Europe have my friends in the US. But hey im in my early 20s so I really don't have any "family obligations"
3. OVERSEAS for NOW, economy hasn't bottomed out yet here and pay is still good. Pilots are still well respected.

Generally not, and they are, for the most part, highly trained professionals.
How hard is in on your personal life if you still live in the states?
Not much, lots of things to do around here (DXB) and plenty of time off
Do you prefer the US or overseas?
US
Does it pay well in relation to the amount of work required
Yes
Is it as safe as the domestic market (I'm guessing in Europe its similar, but some of the BFE carriers)
Don't get the question
