737-700 Pilots in Irak

I was contacted by a nice lady looking for 2 crews for a 737-700 based for 3 months (contract job) in Irak flying to the Middle East and Turkey. I thought it might interest at least someone on here. I do not know the full details but pm and I will send you all the contact infos. I am just the messenger.

Irak?

Never heard of it. I have heard of Iraq...

Irak,...isn't that next to Kanada? A word of advise, if you can't spell it, don't go there.

A word of advise
And if you can't spell it, don't give it ... :D:D:D

(Actually it's improper usage (v. vs. n.), but I couldn't resist!

Agree on the sentiment. Is it that much harder to type "q" than "k"?

FWIW, "Irak" is how it's spelled in other, notably European, languages. Perhaps this poster isn't a native English speaker?

I've never seen that spelling anywhere, but if so I'll stand corrected. Actually, "Kanada" looks kinda cool ... :D

flyers 29 you are correct. This being said, Irak and Iraq are both correct spelling. Irak is just the old spelling. It is still widely used in most European countries. This is what happens when you speak several languages... you are always bound to make a mistake :D

So what's your excuse? :D

None. As long as I can get away with it :D I am fine. And in most cases I do. Who would give a hard time to a guy coming from the land of beers and chocolates? It's not like I am French...

It's not like I am French...
Or Kanadian.
