Default Emirates Frowns on "Sexting"

Airline crew face jail over sexy texts

Have you seen those Emirates FAs?

I'd text the hell out of them.

Now that's a place I want to be... a country that truly observes one's civil liberties... or perhaps a lack there of?

There are no civil liberties but if you stay under the radar life's not too bad. Almost all of us in the expat community are open to most or all of the accusations and risks of accusations from the local emerati community. What would be normal and acceptable behavior at home could have you arrested and deported from here.

Hi!

Based on the information in these posts, the title of the post needs to be changed:
"The Government Of Dubai Frowns On Inappropriate Texting."

I realize that this is less inflammatory than posting that Emirates is upset with the actions of their employees, but the information here does not support that at all.

Emirates did not arrest these people, and Emirates did not sentence them to jail time, Emirates does not own or control a jail, and Emirates will not be holding this people in a jail.

I am not a big Emirates fan, but the title of this post is intentionally inflammatory.

Ok. But that'd be boring.

I dunno, I guess I read it to mean United Arab EMIRATES (UAE) and not the airline.

People are missing the bigger picture here. This would have been a non-issue had the husband of the FA not said anything! Apparently she was cheatin on him with her boss/lead FA. He reported it to the police, and unlike in the US, the laws for infidelity/cheating are quite punishing in UAE.
