Hello all,
I have noticed in postings on this site that everyone believes that Jazz pilots negotiated Dash 8/RJ wages for the 757 flying they will be doing. Infact, the rate that was negotiated for 757 flying is $155/hr with F/O's getting 67% of that. The hourly rate goes into the pool and then brings the wages of all Jazz pilots up.
Eg. 100 rj's at 108/hr= 10800, so all captains receive 108/hr. 100 rj's and 6 757's= 11730(100 rj x 108/hr)+930(6 757 x 155/hr)=110.66 for every captain. All the pilots are making more with the addition of the 757's, and the company is being charged 155/hr for and 67% for crew cost.

First, congrats on what seems to be a good contract. Second, congrats again on the exchange rate: 1 Canadian dollar = 0.96768 U.S. dollars.
