Moving to Shanghai...

Can anyone provide me with a little insight on living in Shanghai? It looks like I will be moving there in the very near future. Also, flying in that part of the World.

Thanks in advance

Never been there, can't help you. But if have not already, go to pprune.org. TONS of info there on international living, flying, and flying for a living.

@%#$ pprune, waste of time and you will have to wade through pages of negative garbage.

I've been based out of Shanghai with GWL for a couple of years. Great city with a great lifestyle. Medical you have likely allready comleted, and I imagine the ATP exam as well since you are about to make the treck.

Any direct questions, housing/education etc. you're welcome to PM me. I had a flat just off the river on Pudong side and I can likely recommend a good comlex if you let me know what you are interested in (near schools or pubs?).

You'll love it mate. Best of luck. Don't be afraid to PM eh.
