Etihad posts banned on PPRune
The owners of PPRune have banned all mention of Etihad on their board. Evidently the airline is very thin skinned and has taken legal action against the owners of the forum.
Here is a new forum covering EY issues. Free forum : ETIHAD FORUM |
Wow!
I thought is was kind of funny when they changed the censor to make Etihad, "teahid". This is a bit much though. TP |
What a joke. I don't blame Etihad but Pprune for complying
|
Is there an individual currently with Etihad that can shed light on the issue(s) between them and PPRUNE?
To date, PPRUNE has been rather liberal on volatile topics. |
Unless confidential or non disclosure type material was published, there shouldn't be a whole lot that PPrune has to worry about.
|
You guys are forgetting that pprune is based in the UK, where libel laws are much more in the favor of business/"important" people.

The website is owned by Internet Brands - it is an American company.
The site was originally set-up and run by an English pilot called Danny Fyne. He sold it a few years ago to Internet Brands for $1.5 million. |

No comment yet from PPrune, they really need to grow a pair.
