RNP and RVSM certification

Hey all,

I have been asked by a European contract company to provide training certificates for RVSM and RNP in order to process an application.

I have flown RVSM and RNP and completed this training in various airlines in Asia and Australia but never been issued with a document to prove it.

Is there a course here in the US that can be undertaken in order to issue these certificates? Do they even exist?

Any info would be appreciated,

thanks

We use Train ATI in Dallas. Dave Stohr is a well known training provider and recognized subject expert. Google "trainati". The training can be done online, at least recurrent training can be.

We use Scott Ipc for international procedures coarse which would cover what you are asking and more and does a fantastic job. But for a quick easy online and relatively inexpensive school, take a look at king schools.

Here's another one. Been very happy with the training:

Thanks for the info guys. I will contact these trainers.

It appears to be an odd request as they don't issue them under JAR ops either.

Always something they want that proves to be a stumbling block!

"what, you have brown hair!!! We require blond"

Yup! :D

"Sorry, Mr. Armstrong, but now we're requiring TWO lunar landings".

I'd tell you "Welcome to overseas flying", but I see you've worked in Asia. :)

Yep 12 years in Singapore, Hong Kong and China. Good people and good fun but ludicrous when dealing with work visas, flight crew licensing, rostering etc.

No endorsement in your logbook with a check airman?

No log book entries. I guess I could have requested such entries back when doing the sim session that included these training events but none of us ever thought it would be an issue in the future.

Is aviation getting more difficult?

Just a thought. If you are on good terms with any of your former chief pilots, perhaps they can write a certifying letter on the Company's Letterhead.

Good luck.
