The more you say about this job, the least appealing it sounds....! My recommendation is to spend some money, get yourself current and take advantage of one of the 73 commuting contracts that are out there. Better time off and pay.

Definitely Saudi. they pay the worst of anywhere in the ME for these gigs. By comparison guys on BBJs at Royal Jet in Abu Dhabi have packages that would be closer to twice that with a lot more time off.
I have a friend in HKG making well over $20K/month on an ACJ. A Saudi comparison that I know is a B777 position that is month on/ month off at $10,000/month. Crap money so they only get guys over age 65 who can't do anything else and/or have something else they can do on the 6 months off a year they get. So they are basically paying less than half of market rate and working you close to twice as hard. TP |
$9000/mo, away from family, Arab businessman.... No way.
You will never get that time back with your kids and for that amount of money, it isn't worth it. |
Insurance companies may require proof of training for areas such as ETOPs, MNPS, NATS, to name a few.
The individual you are going to be flying for should be aware of said requirements. Additionally, a PC may be required as well. Most operators require that the restriction to circling manuevers be removed from one's ATP Certificate too. |

All that glitters, isn't gold.
Oh, and I don't think his race or nationality should be made into an issue. |
