I worked there before going back to UAL. You need to get your logbook stamped by the Panama Consulate. Plan on spending $20 a stamp and every piece of paper will need to me stamped, like birth certificate, college transcripts etc...for the interview your signature is fine. Also I had the former airline I worked at print out copies of my flight times with them and a letter from the Chief Pilot stating it was true san correct.
COPA can be fun if you are single.....don't plan on getting rich and only go if they are offering a Capt slot. I know they hired some RJ Capt'n right into the left seat of the 737.....be careful with the 250 hour wonder kids on the right seats. Good luck.....they will burn you out quick.....lazy could care less attitude. |

Hmm, I have been considering going there as an FO and dragging my fiancé along with me. I was hoping that with the jet time I would be able to expedite my path to the major US airlines. Would you mind expanding on why this is a bad idea? I value the opinion of someone who has already been there.
