Also I had the former airline I worked at print out copies of my flight times with them and a letter from the Chief Pilot stating it was true san correct.

COPA can be fun if you are single.....don't plan on getting rich and only go if they are offering a Capt slot. I know they hired some RJ Capt'n right into the left seat of the 737.....be careful with the 250 hour wonder kids on the right seats.

Good luck.....they will burn you out quick.....lazy could care less attitude.
Hmm, I have been considering going there as an FO and dragging my fiancé along with me. I was hoping that with the jet time I would be able to expedite my path to the major US airlines. Would you mind expanding on why this is a bad idea? I value the opinion of someone who has already been there.

PIC time is key. You will not get that at COPA sitting in the right seat. I knew of several FO's that did exactly like you say and are still in the right seat after 10+ years! This will not expedite your path to a Major.
