Bahamas Air Pilots Strike

Bahamas Air Pilots strike during one of the busiest travel weeks of the year. Multiple websites cite that it's due to pay negotiations.

Anyone have any further details of this?

"The chickens are coming home to roost bobby bouche! You'll reap the sows of your evil ways!"

That's the first thing that came to mind

Good for them

Pilots are demanding lower pay and no benefits.

Why else would pilots strike?

Silver had one flight crew fly a struck flight.

If Silver is part of ALPA, then what is ALPA doing to aid their follow pilots fighting for their careers. Understand that Silver pilots are in a tough spot, but they can always write things up and spend some time at the beach.....

I meant more SPECIFIC details, intelligent one.

I've noticed BALPA isn't as open about their pilot's negotiation status and demands, as ALPA carriers are. Maybe this has to do with being the nation's sole mainline carrier. Just curious.

I think ALPA and B-ALPA are interdependent of each other
