Fair enough Braniff, I do apologise to the ladies reading my posts but I'm just trying to give a truthful picture of reality of the place since lots of guys come on here and post things like dating FA's in QR will get one fired...Thats simply NOT true..Maybe the executives in QR like me so they let me do what I want? That's not true either because I know many pilots male and female in QR who date co workers and party together all the time....I'm just trying to be factual because these are the things many pilots are looking for other than just the salary and career itself...

How does an assumingly regular line pilot FO, possibly American for that matter, become so chummy with senior executives and the CEO? And then brag about his cockish ways in the most conceited, arrogant, and narcissistic fashion to top it all off. It just doesn't add up.

F10 good to hear from you again, lol...You see, the thing is that when a person has an outstanding personality and looks like a GQ model and can fly an airplane like an astronaut, even the CEO's and Billionaires want to befriend you...Being super smart and having been accepted to several Ivy League universities in my younger days (even though I never attended college) also helps....Hope this answers your curiosity....

I am also from the greatest city on the planet so it sparks some interest in people....

Also my dear friend F10...To say this in a more humble way so you understand...Birds of the same feather flock together....You see, the thing is that I have always wanted to be an Airline Pilot, always...Since I was 2 and a half...If I didn't ever fly and chose to chase money with my other interest which is Trading, I would have been a billionaire hedge fund manager myself today..Its just that I'm a pretty lazy guy and don't care much for that kind of money or fame so I chose the humble path of flying...People like Akbar Al Baker who is practically a genious himself recognize this and that's why the man likes me...The thing is, I am also liked by all the janitors at Qatar Airways because I respect everyone and love company of all sorts of people..Even people like you...What can I say, if there is such a thing as a God/Allah- then that creator loves me and wanted me to have such a life as I'm living today and no force in the World can stop that...That's how much I love myself and my life...I don't see anything wrong with it...F10, it's okay to like yourself, really, you should try it once in a while...

Habibi, I just have one question ? Why leave and then come back 3 times. Seems a bit excessive....

Well why 3 times? Because life happens...My divorce due to my own stupidity....Most importantly, my mother being sick and eventually passing away...Family is more important to me than a job

Fair enough ! I've spent a few years in that region working for one of another M.E.3 airlines and must admit it's definitely not for all. Some love it, some hate, others have no choice and no options. Anyway, good to hear QR is working out for you ! Happy landings !

What a newhire A330 first officer can expect working in QR? In terms of training (OPC/LPC), on line flying, career progression...

I understand A350 only reserve for those already in QR not to newhires. Do any types of Airbus guys can bid based on seniority or is it movement from A330 fleets?
