Come on guys we're all pilots here. Everyone knows that the perfect package doesn't exist. Everywhere has pros and cons and you choose the one that best suits your circumstances at the time.

I know a lot of senior pilots that are leaving Emirates and Etihad for Qatar now just for the better education allowance that QR offers, although they'd rather live in Dubai and AD than Doha. I know other newly hired at QR that are buying out paying the bond to go to EY and EK because they want to leave Doha. It's all about what suits you at the time.

Cheers

What's the diffference in education allowance between Qatar and EK/EH?
How many months does it take to get full pay?
What's the pay while you're in training?

A330Pilot I don't even know where to start. All the other people I know who have met the CEO personally usually leave his office with no ID badge and a ticket home within 24 hours. This guy has personally interfered with and sabotaged the careers and lives of pilots and flight attendants alike, and some of these people are good friends of mine. I hope you don't ever get caught with the cell phone number of a cabin crew in your phone, or have a local criticize your landing on Twitter.

I'm happy to go back to the USA and earn the "pittance wages" you describe. My life anywhere in the USA on $50K a year will take the shine off this "life of luxury" in an instant.

Crimson, yes he has done what you described but there is more to a story than we know...Personally, I have partied, dated and had sex with tons of flight attendants at QR and AAB did know and didn't say anything to me...I have done the above even with girls that are close to AAB and again, the guy never said a word to me...The former EVPO saw me with many different girls as well and was proud of my work lol...The only thing he said to me was that he wished he could do the same but can't because his wife is always with him...I was also married at the time n didn't give a ***.Maybe that's why I'm not married anymore lol....I think the part about AAB firing people for dating FA's is more rumor than the truth- like I said, there must be more to a story than we know...

there is no age limit to be a tool...tools come in all shapes and sizes, origins and age spans...

Sounds like his 13 year old son got hold of the computer

A330Pilot is clearly not who they say they are. I used to work at QR, and within reading the first few of his posts I smelled a rat. The more I read the more I know this person is just dicking around. The posts actually read like they were written by a child.

Moderator, can you delete A330Pilot's posts on this topic as it is not helpful for people trying to make an informed decision.

I don't get it...What did I say that is so toolish? There are many pilots in QR who are like me and I'm sure there are many more pilots who are single and want to know what the social life in QR is like...Its an important aspect of accepting a job there...Go show my posts to Abdullah Johar the ex EVPO or AAB and they will tell you who I am and will just laugh at your face for trying to report me...The people who matter know exactly who I am and that's all I care about....

Toasty, you must have been among those people who got canned by the Chief so now you hold a grudge against QR...Whatever information I provide here is factual including the social life...I used to live in Ain Khalid Gate and now have an apartment in the pearl for those thinking that I am not a QR pilot...I was initially hired in 2007 and interviewed in Miami..Captain Mohammad Al Khayareen and Capt. Mustafa Husseini interviewed me along with Arthur Rodriguez who is now at flydubai...Enough Said...For those who genuinely need help or have questions regarding QR I'm here for you...For the haters, well, I dunno what to say....Don't read my posts

Braniff, maybe we know each other, fly safe

A330, openly admitting you cheated on your wife and didn't care is probably what got you the "tool" moniker. Also, you're other comments are just a bit rude is all. PMing that stuff is one thing but on an open, albeit anonymous forum is just a bit inappropriate we'll say. There are women on here but probably not many.

So can you possibly dial it a bit back and just the facts.
