Emirates application question

Hi all, quick question about how long an application stays on file with EK. I applied back in 2009/2010. At the time I went to a meet and greet and the gal told everyone there that despite the weight requirement that everyone that applied would be called in for an interview. I applied and two days later received an email stating that my application was not successful. I emailed a recruiting CA there and he said that at that time they had enough guys that met the weight requirement and so they were not interested. Just curious if anyone knows how long an application stays on file with EK and if there is a record made of an application? I am thinking about applying again and there is some information that I would like to possibly omit that I supplied on my first application and am curious if there is a record of me applying in the past. The information that I would supplied to them the first go around was that I had a duey back in 1996. Now just about 20 years ago. I told them about it and asked the the recruiting CA if that had been a factor in them not being interested in me back in 2009/2010. He stated that they would talk about it if needed but again told me that the reason for the un-interest in my app at the time was that they had the guys that met the weight requirement. I have done a background check on myself and even told the investigator about the record and all that came up was something that did not look like a DUI. There was just some sort of weird record that in after looking the definition of it up would not lead anyone to think that I had a record. I have had no tickets or anything else on my driving record since then, and a flawless training and work record at my current company (121 carrier). I have no problems traveling internationally and have never been asked about it while visiting numerous countries including Canada and the UAE. And yes, I know, it was a very stupid decision and I have spent the past 19 years kicking myself in the ass about it, but I was young and stupid and I made a mistake.
So my question is multiple somewhat...
If I were to apply again would EK have a record of my applying. If so, then I had already disclosed the record. But if my application and information has been flushed from their system they would have no history of me applying. And since I cannot nor could a background checker find the record should I even disclose it if I were to apply again? To set the record straight, I have no problem disclosing my past if that is what is necessary, I am not trying to hide anything but if it isn't necessary to disclose it and it hasn't affected me thus far as far as international travel then I would rather just keep it in the distant past.
It has been nearly 20 years since the incident, pretty much ancient history at this point. Just curious what people on here have to say with their opinions. Please post a response or Private message me. Thank you for your time.

Only one word--paragraphs!

Well, he did actually make 3 paragraphs, just without an indentation or extra space. Par for the forums, imo.

If you can pull up your application from EK's website, just update it, which will also make it active again. If not, well, you can guess what you need to do.

I applied just prior to the financial crash. Got shortlisted and then crickets. Once they started hiring again, I made an update to my flight times, and was then given an interview offer.
