I'm not butthurt, whatever that means?
I based my opinion on the fact that Emirates is "privately" owned.
Given the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy I'd be wary of the gulf carriers long term viability.
I'd say the former Prime Minister of the UAE stated it best: "My grandfather rode a camel, my father rode a camel, I drive a Mercedes, my son drives a Land Rover, his son will drive a Land Rover, but his son will ride a camel"

Yes, once we reach the right economies of scale. That's why it needs to be produced by industries. Those industries are beginning to realize the economies of scale necessary for increasing production. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_..._States#Growth
I have no idea why you'd be sarcastic about industry producing renewable energy?
