Air Panama

Has anyone worked for Air Panama and have any feedback about working for them? I was considering putting in an application for a pilot position. However, I read the threads in this forum about COPA Airlines (which isn't flattering). I'm curious if there is any difference in corporate culture, and how they treat expats (pilots), providing assistance with the cost of the work visa? Thanks.

Met a guy at an Insel Air interview and he said it was bad. The pay was really low too.

Thanks Braniff DC8. This doesn't surprise me.

Had a chat with one of their captains by pure coincidence a little while ago and he was picking my brain about jobs abroad and what not......, It is all third hand mind you and I don't know anyone working there but he was telling me that they can't get the Panamanians to apply....., What does that tell you?

It is my opinion (for what it's worth) that if you are choosing the expat option......, choose the expat option and bank on it. I know that the proximity gives a warm fussy feeling but at the end of the day you're an expat.
