Netjets in Jeddah

Just wondering if any one has the skinny on Netjets in S.A.; specifically
Jeddah. I was called for an interview today regarding this position.
It's flying a GIV.
Wondering what type of trips(destinations) and QOL over there ?
I've been to Saudi before, but not Jeddah. Any insight would be appreciated
much.

Net Jets Middle East

I interviewed with them earlier last year. There was not much information about them prior to the interview so here's what I remember. I was offered the job at roughly $36000 per year out of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Schedule was 35 days on 31 days off with an airline ticket to/from your home city. Airplanes at the time of the interview was G-4, Hawker 800XP and Falcon 2000. I was offered the Hawker almost two months after the interview. There is absolutely no affiliation with NetJets other than name brand. You would actually be flying for NAS, National Air Service, for Saudi Arabia. Interview was in Dallas at Simu-Flight, travel and accomodations fully paid including per diem. Interview included personality profile (nothing to study for), 1 hour simulator (CRJ glass), and 1 hour grilling from hiring manager and HR person. No technical questions in interview just alot of scenarios as to how you would handle yourself in front of royalty; a few TMAT when you broke a rule, etc. I stuck to the "Safe" answers no matter what and they seemed happy with my conservative approach. Hope this helps, I turned it down, I thought money may be a little better but you can do just as well flying for NJ America or FlexJet. Good luck.;)

NJME Pay

I'm glad the pay is more comensurate to international work. In March of 2006 with the currency conversion at the time, the money came in right at what I had quoted, for the Hawker. I looked at the Job Offer letter and it came out to 14,000 Saudi Riyals per Gregarian months. In today's dollars that is $3733.95 per Gregarian month. One thing I did not mention was they have no obligation to report your earnings to the IRS and my contract period was for three years. Take that for what it's worth. Best of luck to you in Jeddah, I heard it's a dry heat.:D
