NetJets Phone Interview and Information

No, not at all -- because he'd never be able to fit in a Netjets Phenom in the first place! Seriously, they got a customized interior that removed vital cockpit space that'd make it all but impossible for a 6'7" pilot to get in there. Think Bubba Smith in Police Academy.

Take 4 inches out and fly 4 legs a day for 7 days strait? It’s awful, and you will be miserable. That is just one of the several fatiguing elements of NetJets. But if you could hold the Latitude, at least that element would help.
But to put out a little perspective. The fact that people aren’t bidding the Lat should show you that the QOL won’t improve enough to leave other fleets.

Sorry about overestimating the upgrade hire dates, I was going from memory rather than looking up the bid awards. Never a good idea for me to go from memory
In the career advice forums I'll telling guys how important seniority is and to get their 1500 hours ASAP. I upgraded to Captain in 2.5 years at NetJets. Had I been hired 6-7 months later I'd still be an F/O at year 13. At the incredible shrinking airline (USAirways) I missed being furloughed by a month or two, at least the first time anyway. Got furloughed in 2003 with over 13 years seniority. I think they went all the way to 15 year pilots.
I'm 5'10" with a 30" inseam. On the Phenom 300 I had 1 click remaining on the rudder pedal adjustment. Anyone over 6' or with long legs may very well fit test out. Those that do may get the Excel or Latitude. We have lots of Latitudes coming, the Owners love them.

The Phenom will be sold out by July for the rest of the year.

I never said no AC...I said no FREON AC.
Captains sit in the cool FBO while the FO's bake in the cockpit praying that the GPU doesn't drop offline.
I'm surprised you didn't say "it has 2 APUs" or "if you are cold you can just run an engine to warm up the plane".

The Phenom being so popular must be a large reason for the mass expansion NetJets is going through right now... Oh wait...
The Phenom is sold out because owners are being transferred from displaced fleets. If it was popular enough to increase the fleet size, they would, but they aren't.
The Hyundai Elantra was the hottest selling car of 2017, was that because people loved it or because the price was right?
