You call him a POS simply because he was hit up to be the “dude in the pictures”? You would have done the same had they asked you to do it.
Yep. Know him and have flown with him. Back in the day was a good guy. Soon as he kissed butt and became a negotiator for Kenn knew what kind of guy he really was. Just like the boys from the training Dept that I used to have respect for but watched them all make there back room deals to jump into aircraft there seniority had no business holding. Yeah I know him.

I wasn't necessarily name calling. The forum forbids actual names, so I asked if that was his nickname. Apparently it is, and it seems the people who know him on here believe it is earned. I know he got his upgrade way out of seniority, so how will you justify that? You can't.

And to answer the last part of your question. I would have never accepted the offer to be "the dude" in the picture. I was very senior and could have tried and schmooze my way into a Global or Gulfstream. But the whole thing has been douschebag ever since Kenn bought Flex. My father always told me integrity is one of the few things you can control and make sure you never lose it. I wasn't about to crap all over other pilots like how most of those that got into the large cabin program in the beginning. BR, CS, JG, MG, MG, TW, SS, AM, SM, ND, MM, JK, JC, CR, just to see a few. These guys are all scum in my mind as they all made back room deals and that's how Kenn wants it. Only promote the a$$ kissers and yes men willing to do whatever it takes, carry writeups, instead of pushing for a properly negotiated seniority list. These guys are no better than scabs.
So I left, gave up huge seniority, took a big pay cut first year but never compromised my integrity or morals. I love listening to dirtbags trying to justify jumping into seats they can't hold seniority wise. Plus I saw the writing on the wall with the decert and knew it was likely to happen and wasn't going to be a part of what or who was left.

You obviously don't know the meaning of the term "scab". Unless someone actually crossed a picket line and/or flew struck work they aren't scabs.

There are other descriptive terms you could use. We should NEVER cheapen the term by applying it erroneously.

I do know the meaning of the word scab. I have been furloughed twice in my career. And back when guys did cross the line. Maybe not an exact match but my point is the same type of personality trait that makes a scab is the same type of personality trait that has prospered under Kenns regime with the ability to make back room deals and have no issue jumping out of seniority for their own gain and prosperity. I could have but did not. Know plenty of pilots at Options that could have but chose to do the right thing and not be a scumbag.

I wholeheartedly agree with you about integrity. Once you lose it, it’s nearly impossible to get back. What is going on now is two sides have thrown integrity to the wind and the insults and name calling is the new norm.

I’m on the outside, however, it appears the only lack of integrity group is eminating from those who see no issue with taking positions, in many cases, well outside of seniority. How does one justify doing so? How do they look one of their fellow pilots in the eye and trust them going forward? Management it seems is playing games with peoples careers/livelihood and some pilots seem to have no issue with them doing so.
“So, you’ve been here only 3 years, however, we see you as a team player so we are going to give you an upgrade over many who have been here for 10 years because, well, they just aren’t team players.”

How does anyone think this is OK? Am I missing something?

You actually said "these guys are no better than scabs..." You made a proper comparison. The mentality of some on our side (original Flexjet) is exactly the same. So the accurate comparison is exactly the one you are making.

Ken Ricci is OK with it, and his model encourages those who are OK with it. It rewards them, runs off those who can leave, and grossly underpays the "trapped" employees. It's a dirtbag system created by a....dirtbag.

I had a recent conversation with someone who flew with a new hire that said he has totally OK with a disregard for seniority because his last job was in the service where they reward had work. The response to this should be"your not in Kansas Toto and the real word doesn't work that way". This is a perfect example of who they want as pilots, as if not one guy flying the line isn't working hard.

This is what all you Flexjet anti-union types will be looking at without a union, RIM job 101!
