It’s not possible, it’s an impossibility. No way someone can increase their pay over 50 percent. This is not the airlines where you can actually pick up extra days of flying on days off. You COULD request to be extended like that John guy does every month, but even then at extended day pay rate for a 3rd year FO you still could not reach 137K.
If anyone claims something is too good to be true it most likely is not.
I’ll take my burger with cheese and extra fries please.....thanks John.

A new hire cannot sell back sick days because they haven't accrued enough.
Sick days are accrued at 1 per month. A max of 24 days is allowed in the bank and the overflow (beyond 24) can be sold back.
Assuming the cm never used a sick day, the first possibility of a sell back would happen in year 4 after accruing overflow days in year 3.
I don't believe vacation can be sold back in year 1 for a similar reason in that the cm hasn't accrued the vacation yet, but I'd have to research this to be sure.

Standard schedule is 7 on, 7 off.
While in training, you are placed on the 72 day schedule and then you are placed on a schedule following the next bid which is seniority driven. Bids occur three times a year. Only one of the three each year is a “flush” bid where you can be driven off your desired (or not-so-desired but awarded) schedule or 7-7 start day by a more senior pilot.
Clear as mud?
It’s a retarded system but I expected nothing less from my company and my negotiating committee.

Looks like you hate the company you work for and the union that represents your interests.
That's sad. You must be a joy to work with.

And yea, I’m not a fan of my employer and not a fan of the negotiating committee (of one).
Union
Negotiating “Committee”
Big difference.

2) Nobody gets through a 30 year flying career without having a few talk bad.
3) The only people who I am aware of that have anything bad to say are the flaming liberals who I have argued with in the cockpit because they can't keep their big mouths shut.
