Default Netjets: Huge Longitude & Hemispher Order

This is great news! That Longitude is a great looking airplane!

See below:

Hemisphere is vaporware due to its janky Silvercrest engine.

And today... “While the NetJets order doesn’t yet remove the Hemisphere from its suspended status, this will be the case once the Silvercrest’s issues with its compressor are resolved.”

The Hemisphere was canceled wasn't it?

Good news but the article is misleading. It isn't a huge order, it is an order, with options. I am guessing this will be 100% fleet replacement and no growth. They need to replace my beloved XL lol.

Will the Longitude compete with the CL350? Or is the Longitude seen as a Sovereign/C750 replacement?

Longitude starts arriving in spring.

This should really positively affect upgrade times as 350, 650, Global, Phenom and Latitude deliveries are still on track and coming.

I see upgrade announcements topping 20-25 a piece once Longitude starts delivering quickly. Just like 2001.

Word is XLs and a few other frames will stay for a bit to allow for Longitude to deliver and set some performance and reliability trends.

How high could the fleet get during this swell?

500?

JL. did this come from pillow talk with AB and AJ or is that an assumption on your part?

How many orders are firm? Zero. I haven't heard any former co-workers mention that Bozo has made any fleet plan announcement officially as to where they want airframes to be.

Sounds like he is making stuff up.
