Gotcha. Are you sure about the $10M purchase price? That sounds like interest in debt...
The only firm figures I saw in my fire-starter paperwork showed 3,000,000 shares of E-1 stock purchased for $8.20 (don't worry, no pilots were issued E-1 shares...) and then another $10M management bonus for Brad and friends. Let that one sink in for a few...

Says the guy who thinks airline flying is redundant and boring. Interestingly, that’s the cup that nearly everyone at Flex drinks from, and none of them save a few retirees have ever flown for a major airline.
121 is no more redundant than flying between the NE and Florida all tour long, and taking a big plane into Bogota etc is just as challenging if not more than Castlegar and the like.
If you want to fly fracs then knock yourself out. But don’t pretend to know what major 121 flying is like. I’ll trade not seeing some new place out in the sticks once a rotation for not having to clean lavs, stock planes and be on the hook for rolling rest. YMMV.

Old Fart
At Xojet you also have three schedule options to choose from. 8/6, 15/13, or a monthly flex schedule based on company need(extra pay for this). No goofy looking uniforms, however we do dress like Johnny Cash(he was a cool guy anyway). Quick upgrades, and overall great pilot group. We are smaller so everyone knows each other. No babysitting of old farts either like at Netjets. We did just get bought by Vista Global, but seems to be business as usual so far, good luck with your job hunting.

Been there done that. No where near as mentally exhausting. Glad I’m not still doing it, but absolutely bust my ass just as hard. You go get a pilots license if you can, and then work your ass up the ladder.......10 years ago to now when 250 hours wouldn’t get you right away in a jet. I’ve worked aviation jobs that were physically harder, more dangerous, and certainly more stressful than construction.
