They work too hard. They live to work, not work to live. To the point that so many of the pilot group swallowed the management narrative that they cant have nice things, because pilots are "lazy" and fatigue too much. I agree, there are some amazing pilots at NetJets but the rank and file seem to lack confidence, and in some cases, intelligence.
Or the pilots have become institutionalized and delusional.

FO for life in small cabin fleet.
Way too many extra duties and “cleaning up” CMH issues for me to finish up my time there.
You worked hard when Santulli was running the show, but not a beat down.
Different story with Uncle Warren.
There are positives, and I miss some of the great people I met and worked with, but it is not a career destination in today’s environment.
Fly a lot of nights now when I do domestic flights (international way better), but nowhere near the work load, and I don’t go home nearly as tired as the 7n7, even after trip of 2 weeks.
Too many lifers who would never really fight BH.
(Should have marched on Wall Street)
And as diverse as the pilot group is, which can be positive, I never saw the unity come voting time that would achieve the major gains that are needed.
Not all financial, but quality of life equally.
And as the cheerleaders like to say, YMMV.

Netjets is a funny company that works for some people, for some it’s a stopover point on their way to the majors, for others it’s a career destination, some stay because they feel they are bound by “Golden” handcuffs and thus don’t want to leave due to circumstance , others generally enjoy this style of flying and are happy with the current situation as it presently stands. To each their own, the IBB passed by a huge margin, and the majority of folks on the property have faith in their union , to those in the 121 world , God bless , I loved my time in 121 both pax and cargo , the jets, the flying ,it all rocks. Right now I’m at the frac, who knows what the future will bring ? But in the meantime I’m not hating on it, YMMV indeed, cheers : )

“not much is” - idk what you’re referring to. I’m talking about one thing.
Fix it? Bonus per leg or count the turn times as flight somehow. Smaller fleets have to do more flights to reach 12.1. With the turn times in between, there is less opportunity in a duty day to accrue flight time.

That’s why I left nearly 2 years ago.

This is funny as I was riding the crew van to Westchester (Hilton) the other day and one of the other pilots is welcoming me to the airline and he says "this new contract is brilliant, were all fighting over DOING trips we would avoid before, its changed this place into a money making machine, most guys are making about 20% more on 7 on 7 off"
