It’s either going to be the Phenom 300 or the Challenger 300. Either way, it doesn’t really matter much, because regardless of the AC you have as an FO, you’re going to the Phenom when you upgrade.

Did phone interview about a month ago. Was told at least 60% of new hires getting the Phenom, imagine that number is closer to 90% with the rest getting the Challenger; Legacy slots are full, Lear is very senior. HR rep was very up front and said I'd almost certainly get the Phenom, even being over 6' with only mid/super mid types and international experience. Was asked if getting the Phenom was a deal breaker and said yes, got an email several days later saying they would not be pursuing an in person interview. For what it's worth, asked about Global/Gulfstream slots. Global is merit based, Gulfstream is seniority. Newest Global slot had been with company about 2 years and Gulfstream was around 6-7. Hope this info helps

Just had a friend complete his training with CAE on the PHENOM 300. He was happy with the organization, instructors, and facilities. What specifically went bad with your training? Being a retired 121 crewmember, as well as disciplined, he was throughly prepared for each day of class and simulator training.
