Leave Regional for FlexJet?

I doubt 135/91 crews are superior. I did both and while 135 was challenging, It was more forgiving. Dropping the brake a minute late will get you a call from the CP in 121. FOQA data is heavily monitored.
121 is flying 3/4/5 legs a day, every day. Every other leg is into somewhere like O'hare, LGA, LAX, EWR, ATL. The 121 interface with the ramp/ops is far more complicated than anything 135 does.
ASE is not difficult in an airplane with the performance a simplicity of a business jet. Going in and out of there in a CRJ is a completely different experience. Airliners also do not seem to be designed with pilots in mind. The flows and procedures are more complicated, even in a similar weight class (Gulfstream vs CRJ).

121 by far the easiest thing I have done, also, have NEVER gotten a call from the CP, and you bet I have "dropped the brake(?!)" late at NK a few times, I do know personally tons of people called in to the CP office for refusing to do things like depart SUN R31 IFR. Averaged 3 legs a day ACMI, 2 a day 91K, probably 1 a day 121 (bid redeyes, so..), also flew into O'hare, LGA, LAX, EWR, ATL 91K, AND flew into 500+ other airports too. Every place I have been had very similar flows and procedures.
I do think the selection process for 121 weeds out the undesirables a lot better.

[QUOTE=dera;2885107]You sound like a Boutique guy.
Try 121. It's not easier/harder, just different.
It's silly to compare them.
It's funny you mention those airports. They are probably the easiest airports in the country to operate from.[/QUOTE
I’ve been in and out of others that will make those airports look docile for sure. ATL LGA, ORD, SFO to name a few, point I was making is that we don’t hop from one small airport and FBO to another like most 135 ops. Not sure why I got so defensive about it. Lol.

I’m 47 with no degree flying at a regional. The fractionals May be my only hope for a good job into retirement. I already know mainline is not an option for me. I have no failed checkrides, no criminal record. I’m squeaky clean, but without that undergrad degree, I won’t make it passed the auto sort when I submit my application. Human eyes would never see my app. So NetJets or flexjet. Hope I can get there.

Laughing my buttocks off when I read that. Yeah, I am sure Mesa, Go Jet, Envoy, Endeavor, Republic, Air Whisky, etc "weed out the undesirable a lot better". Oh my gosh, what an idiotic comment. Are you 12?
