XOJet was purchased by Vista Jet. So you'd be working for them. I talked with a VJ Global Captain.. I think he said he was on a 14 day tour.

That's inaccurate. You work for XO. Vista bought 49% of XO as a foreign entity cannot own wholly a US company. XO actually has taken over for hiring, aircraft support, MX for Vista US operations on both the Challenger and the Global. The schedules remain the same, everything stays the same minus pay etc.

I have no firsthand experience with either company (I'm NetJets) but I have read a lot of stuff over the past 2 years on this forum about both companies. Take it FWIW but from that I'd say XO is a much better place to be. Also had an acquaintance of mine apply to them, I may see him at our monthly retired pilot's breakfast tomorrow, if so I'll ask.

I’ve been at XO for 6 months, love it. Work 8 on 6 off. Upgrade is around a year to 1.5 years. Haven’t seen any change with the vista purchase. PM for more info

Bring your kneepads if you go to flex. You'll need them.

That's the spot on truth... I wouldn't even tell my ex wife to work at flex and I hate my ex wife...

I've seen a few Flex guys show up on Xojet interview lists for what its worth. Xojet only flies mid size jets so no Phenoms or learjets to worry about getting stuck in. APU's are a nice thing to have!

Isn't first year pay at XO something like 55k? Compared to 100k at flex. Pretty big difference.
