I left NetJets with 12 years seniority in the left seat for UPS. Smartest move I ever made. Second year FO pay was higher than 13 year Captain pay.

Hahahaha... in all honesty, you do trade all the perks from NetJets for cash at the airlines. We don’t even get a free breakfast any where.

I enjoyed my time at NetJets and still speak highly of it. I wish nothing but the best, I have really good/close friends that are still there. Only two companies were in the running to make me leave, FedEx and UPS. I got hired by UPS and ran the numbers... and that was that.

GeeWizz... I put the $168,000 severance package in escrow to cover future divorce settlements!

$168 Grand covers your divorce settlement? You have a good lawyer or got a great judge....

And your timing was impeccable.

I was told its an insurance thing, friend tried to get a waiver for a B-1 pilot with 2200 hours and it was denied, they told him that the insurance provider for owners won't allow it?
