VistaJet
I've been a little confused by the hiring minimums on XOJet crew resources website for their VistaJet Challenget 350 SIC positions. I've seen the XOJet mins at 2000tt but when you get specific and click on the VistaJet Challenger 350 link it lists 1000tt with 500 jet/turboprop hours.
I'm sitting at 1325tt with 810 hours of multi, 770 of that being turbine, and 100 of that is jet PIC.
The main thing I'm asking is should I bother applying now, or wait until I hit 2000tt?

Once their names become familiar they won't ever get hired because they are unable to read and follow simple directions. I don't need someone like that on our staff. They often prove to have more issues than they're worth.

DEC I believe you must already be typed and have time in type...I think. Also from what we have seen it doesn't seem like the Globals actually do much "worldwide" flying. Lot of transcon flying is what Im hearing. Not sure on upgrade but I imagine quickly. Word to the wise. If you do apply to the Vista side ask tons of questions regarding vacation, payscales, training days and benefits.

So are VistaJet pilots, as XO Crew Resources, essentially a different division of the XOJet team, or a completely separate entity? Is there a different pay scale/work schedule? I just ask because there's no mention of them on the APC page.

Always wait until you have the minimum time. I get resumes every day from guys who don't have the published mins. Those go right in the trash can. On top of that, they'll resubmit and STILL not have the minimum requirements.

I’ve received multiple job offers in the past from applying below the mins. (Including my current gig).
This isn’t always the case. Not every hiring department shares this sentiment.

I talked to a Vista Jet Global Captain this week. He told me that he was on the 17 days on, 13 off schedule. I also asked if his trips were mostly international. He said "no." Almost all are domestic, according to him. He didn't seem too happy with the gig, especially when I told him our extended day rate at NJA.
