Default FlexJet and Mil Leave

I know that legally they have to let you take mil leave. But, what is the vibe/push back anyone has received from flexjet when submitting mil leave when it can’t be worked during your scheduled off days?

Thanks.

Well Ricci claims he is a “military trained pilot”.... ROTC in college counts doesn’t it?

Not a Flex pilot but know the rules according to USEERA. Remember there is no requirement to provide documentation for mil leave less than 30 days. Only written or verbal notification. An email stating you are taking leave and your return date will suffice.

This is exactly correct, and my unit has a strict policy of saying "we cannot confirm of deny do to operational security". There is a reason my unit does two sim periods on the 24th of December and good on them, all the **** whole deployments etc. Bottom line is you're serving your country and don't feel guilty about taking mil leave. And to be honest all these companies want mil guys so their not going to give you **** as long as your not dropping it one day notice mid tour etc.
