Are you really home 20 nights/month?

Any catches to that?

I read that as you’re off for at least 12 (two sets of 6), and then you could cycle through the base during the two 8 day rotations.

When I was there last year that metric included vacation time.

Shot a text to a buddy of mine who works for them, he’s an SIC in FTW on the 10/5 and he said he averages ~16 nights a month in his own bed, 2-3 nights at home during each on-cycle. Captains see home a little less frequently, and he says 20 is rare for anyone unless it’s a really slow month.
