Not saying it is unique at all. Somebody made a statement, it was factually accurate. That’s basically where it should lie. I don’t think the original poster of the statement was inferring that no other pilot group has ever been screwed over by management before lol.

I was furloughed and not once did I feel I got screwed. The company attempted to avoid it and new management thought furlough was better business wise. It sucked but not once did I feel I got screwed. Nothing nefarious about it.
The company has contractual obligations, nothing more.
By the way, I participated in furlough mitigation scheduling and still got furloughed and pretty much knew I would. If you didn’t see it coming....well....

I was furloughed and not once did I feel I got screwed. The company attempted to avoid it and new management thought furlough was better business wise. It sucked but not once did I feel I got screwed. Nothing nefarious about it.
