I did not like working for NJA at all for many reasons, including the way you are worked when you are on the road. That being said, I do not remember a single instance where somebody was worked hard, called fatigued, then was fired. I will bash NJA for lots of reasons but fair is fair, the company won't fire you for a fatigue call. NJA as a whole is not looking to fire you, whether you are on probation or not. Guard is an extreme example, and in the extreme minority. Not only did he set off red flags during probation, he lit the flags on fire. There was no way somebody like him was going to make it through probation.

Wow it didn't take long for the same cast of characters to make a mess of this thread too. Do you realize how annoying it is to have to read through pages of bickering to find the real info? I've worked for plenty of shady operations, flying and otherwise, but man...find a hobby and stop making your life miserable with a memory.

Update:

I sent my app in for a third time to get around any chance of being weeded out by a glitch. No response yet, but applying elsewhere. At this point the confusion around the mins has faded my excitement about NetJets.

You mean like with posts like this? The irony here is great.

Confusion? The mins are there. Just because you have them doesn’t mean you will get an interview/phone call. If you have Netjets mins, you have had the mins for most big airlines for months/years, did they call? Sorry you haven’t gotten called, but if you haven’t you need to change something on your resume (take a management class, take a service class, volunteer, etc...) to make yours self get called.

Well a quick automated decline would indicate something systemic. Including some posts on here indicating internal understandings that pilots would have to delete and reapply for the new mins.

Not whining, just trying to share my experience and get understanding. If there’s a silly programming hurdle, I’m going to try to get around it.

Yes website vs. internal communications.

This is not a “poor me” post. I’m just making sure I wasn’t passed over due to a programming technicality.

That said, anyone applying from here forward need not be concerned since the website was updated.

/thread.
