A good rule of thumb is to take whatever comes out of 2N’s mouth as the complete opposite of the truth.

2N is lying to his pilots again? Are we surprised since he has been playing his pilots for almost 40 years? He will feed whatever information he feels to make his smile appear brighter.
The Netjets VOLUNTEER LOA is simply a way that pilots who fear catching Covid or passing it to high risk loved ones at home, can take a leave of absence without being forced to work in the present conditions. This is extremely important for folks who may experience high anxiety or fear that may disrupt their work. The VLOA would be without pay, but the pilot would retain full medical benefits.
This benefit was negotiated by our Union and is a great tool that other companies should also offer.

We have an E Board member spewing alarming information that simply seeks to create FUD. Yes, we all know how contagious the virus is, yes we should keep our distance, but dramatizing the events will only make this worse. Maybe, and I can only hope that JH is addressing some people not taking this serious, but we cannot completely stop our way of live either. There are going to be MANY MORE unemployed and DEAD from non medical virus related cases. People like JH spreading fear, while it may be true, only serves to incite panic.

I'm told the E-Board member was AV. The LOA apparently is not having the desired effect. Heard several NJ management bailed as all this started. This is all coming from the pilots who have relationships with folks inside the main office. The situation is "critical". The VLOA is only benefiting the Over 65 group who were already going to leash on the Medical LOAs. Hearing the next move is to offer you deferred compensation in your PTO? Any truth to that?

This one is total FUD. No eboard members with those initials either. No management has bailed. The majority of office workers in CMH are working from home. I have no idea what the average age of those who took the VLOA is and nobody has put out that info. NetJets isn't offering deferred compensation for anything- we have a union so management can't unilaterally mess with our pay. There may be more voluntary measures offered in the future, but they will be voluntary and they won't involve making less money for the same amount of work and they won't involve possibly getting paid at some undetermined point in the future.

This is damage control to cover for the blatant lies told to the FJ pilot group in an attempt to soften the benefits and compensation reductions that they are understandably going through.
