Don't think anything has changed. Planning for fall classes I'm told.

Yeah, still all closed up for the summer. I thought I heard interviews were still going on, but for classes I wouldn't expect anything earlier than September.

Thanks I appreciate it! I applied and was told that when they start hiring FO's again they would send me the application. I was just curious if anyone knew anything. Thanks again!

If I were you, I would send an updated resume' in monthly or every 6 weeks. Shows interest and that you want to be here. Just my opinion on the subject. Go after what you want and where you want to be. Don't just sit back and wait, although thats what has to happen sometimes. Make them tell you to stop sending it in. Keep your name on the front of their minds and lists.

I appreciate the input. I originally applied a few months back before the 500TT when they were interviewing and giving offers but was told at that time they could only interview at 500.

I did exactly as you said and updated every single month at the end with my progress and checking in. I plan on doing what you said and keep updating them as this is the company I really do want to work for. PC-12 has always been on my list of aircraft to fly and every time I talk to crews passing through they seem to enjoy the company.

Thanks again!

Nice. Good for you. Where about do you live now? Maybe we will run into each other.

I have 3800 hours, an ATP issued in 1989. 500 night, 200 instrument, 2000 XC. A majority of those hours have been personal flying and most recently flight instructing primary students. I have 30 hours of turbo prop time but that was 25 years ago... I have very little experience with the glass cockpit. I retired from a career other than flying (ATC) and I am considering PS. I was interested in doing the FO thing first, then as my experience gained I would transition it Captain. That was my thinking.

After emailing the HR department they sent me an application for direct entry Captain. How hard is it to wrap your hands and mind around the APEX systems and go from steam gauges to the new systems? With the posts that I have been reading, seems like it's going to be some time before FO classes start again.

Should I wait for the next FO class or go for the direct entry Captain slot? I am a solid pilot, but that was all part 91 flying. Are there any PS pilot's here that can offer your suggestions? Thanks in advance.
