Do you know when they will be offering new classes? I passed the interview process last month and they said they are going to put me in an upcoming class for FOs, but they are not saying when that may be.

Most likely the FEB MAR and APR classes are full. They don't run classes MAY JUN and JULY because of the summer demand. Most likely classes will resume in August for the fall.

Well that’s a bummer.

Just noticed that. Probably should have made my decision for a career change earlier last year.

I'm guessing the "pilot shortage" isn't hitting them too terribly right now. Thoughts on applying with 650 hours and no CFI?

Thanks!

Got a response from my resume to fill out the application package last November. The email states that they were looking fill FO class positions for January and February classes. I had multiple job offers at the time and just now deciding that planesense is the right fit for me. Have I waited too long or do you think I would still be able to get a class date before August as previously stated? Starting to regret taking so long but that is a decent contract so wanted to outweigh all my options before I made the commitment.
Thanks

They've probably moved on. That was nearly 4 months ago. You can give it a shot and send it back in but they usually don't run classes in the summer peak months.

Are they still having trouble keeping pilots? When I was there a lot of pilots were leaving. Even senior captains/IP's.

Matriculation is always a problem at most 91k 135 operators. Most that left captain wise went on to majors. 2 to Delta 2 to SWA 1 to United and 3 to JetBlue. 1 went to DPJ, another took a 91 job back home on a CE-680 out of his home airport. 2 went to NJA, and 2 went to FXJ, 1 TO XOJET. Progression. Bettering yourself is the name of the game. With regards to the FO'S, they're out mostly at 1500 if not before.

Where are most captains coming from prior to PS in order to get multi-time?
