Question

Any PS pilots want to share how many hours they flew in 2020?

I flew 250 hours but I'm part time and was out for 3 months on a medical Leave of Absence.

The worst part is not knowing where you are flying until the day before. The best part is knowing when you are working a year or more in advance.

Saw two of the aircraft at KECP on Thursday at lunch.
Like the uniforms. Looks comfortable. Like the airplane too.
Would love to fly it.

The worst part? That's tough to nail down. Depends on what you're able to let go and not bother you. There are guys that complain about crew meals where some of us are happy to get a free meal at work. It's going to be personal preference for everyone. For me, it's when the schedule favors those pilots that complain the loudest and the rest of us pick up the pieces. Those folks end up making a name for themselves, so it all works out. Short overnights in nice places is another one but it's the nature of the beast, and it's nice to have paid-for micro vacations anyway. Keep a good perspective and there's not a lot wrong with this job at all.

The way I looked at it when I was there is that the FOC had my a$$ for the 8 days I was working. That way I was never too upset when they took something away or added something

When I was there, the worst part was 8 days. Everything else was pretty decent. No meaningful complaints that wouldn’t apply to the rest of the industry as well.
