Default Looking at applying

I'm looking at applying to PlaneSense as an FO. Just looking at what the current process is regarding interview as well as the training down at Flight Safety. Was also curious whether or not the PlaneSense fleet of PC12s is all glass or if they've still got round-dials.

The fleet is all glass as the Legacy round dials have left the fleet
The training will be about a month at the training center in PSM consisting of ground school and the PC-12 FTD. After successfully completing that stage you will be sent to Dallas for a week in the PC-12 simulator. At the end of that you will get your check ride in the simulator.
As for the interview currently the technical interview is being done remotely. If you pass that you will be brought into PSM for the HR interview and evaluation in the Frasca ATD, for Direct entry Captains the evaluation is in the PC-12 FTD.

Do they still do a IFR refresher course as part of that?

does the Frasca ATD replicate the PC-12, or do they use some other baseline model...maybe a Mooney?

It's a Mooney and very pitch sensitive IIRC

I don’t know of any IFR refresher course that PlaneSense offers. They expect you to be IFR capable and that’s what the Techical interview and Frasca is about. I do know a flight school in MHT that offered a class to help prep you for the interview and Frasca. They used an Elite ATD set up as a Bonanza

It depends on how many owners want the PC-24. Last I heard we have 2 more coming and enough owners line for a 3rd that we haven’t ordered yet.
