What's wrong with SA227? Chase I appreciate all the great replies!

Meanwhile SA227 just shows lack of decency.

Lifesabeach,

Thanks for the kind words but many others post on here with good info also.

Don’t be too hard on SA227...I’ve read many of his posts and they are for the most part informative and decent...regardless, he must be a pretty decent guy because he got hired at my old company SWA.

He came back to SWA after being turned down the first time (I recommend that to anyone who gets the dreaded TBNT letter) and made it the 2nd time so I applaud him for sticking with it and getting on board.

Fly safe all

3. A TBNT letter doesn’t always mean “never” it just means not right now. Someone could have been number 6 in a decision that picked the top 5. No need to be offended, just move on or reapply.

Is it unreasonable for a recruiting software program to send out job postings with the hopes that someone who expressed an interest in the company might share it with their network?
I think that is reasonable considering it is offered as an option during the application process.

I’m a pilot, but if I knew an IT specialist with a desire to live in Fort Lauderdale, I would definitely send them a job advertisement from my email inbox.

If hired, that person might even be able to get me in the door down the road if I was still looking.

I just don’t see how it is insulting or embarrassing. When I get upset about something, I take a deep breath and try to see it from another perspective. This solves a lot of perceived problems.

To everyone out there looking, good luck on the job search, the tide is turning in your favor.
Are you like cracked in the head? Why would I take valuable time out of my day to forward a job opportunity at a company that didn't have the common decency to even give me a chance to blow an interview, nor even know what the culture is like? "Hey buddy, try this place, they told me to F.O., but it should be great"

Chase is all Koolaid, it is so sickeningly sweet it's ridiculous. Too many years (decades) at WN, sucking it down! I have been enjoying that sh*t show from a distance for a long time. I posted what I did, just to see how Chase would respond. Absolutely text book hilarious!

I could care less about XO's moronic solicitations. Just hit the delete button. If they can't manage a simple IT issue, maybe it's not really worth working there.

So, I don't get hired by XO, so what. Maybe there is a good reason NOT to go there.

SA227 is more of a realist, someone finally called it as it is. Dude, we need to tip a few beers together.

I agree, in your specific case, both parties benefited as I don’t believe the match would’ve been productive for either party.

Glad I’ve been able to provide enjoyment through the years (decades), it’s one of my goals in life.

Fly safe and good luck in your flying career.

You're funny. Decades in that you were at WN for decades doing the Koolaid.

You don't know anything about me, or my character. I can come across any way that I want to on an anonymous forum. You bit and took the bait.

Your veiled snotty little comment just shows how petty you are. All worship, genuflect, and pay homage to Chase!

It's an adult that understands that there are dissenting voices/opinions, and they do not attempt to gaslight each and every situation.

Vaya con Dios!

So Diesel, you’re saying you care at least a little about the solicitations?

Don’t be so hard on him. We all double post occasionally. From what I’ve seen, it’s a rare occurrence for .

ETA: After all of the INTENTIONAL BS, insulting messages I get from HR/management at my current employer, I just let stuff roll off my back. I get spammed by Linked In jobs—cost of doing business. In my experience, most companies have some weak IT infrastructure so things like this slip out. As for drinking cool aid, I’m really trying to put every cluster at my company in perspective. Every company is going to screw up. How they recover is what matters. This seems minor, however irritating for diesel8, given what happened and the timing.
