Outdated info. Looking to add several hundred pilots and take deliveries of 30+ new airplanes this year to grow the fleet.

Default No comparison

My two cents is this. There is absolutely NO comparison between NetJets and Fly Exclusive. If you want to compare apples to apples then consider Red Wing or Bellair to Exclusive. The reason you upgrade reasonably quickly at Exclusive is because after someone is there a week, they want to quit. Beware of W.W. The biggest jerk you'll ever run into. When it first opened, it was an excellent place to work but for awhile now it has gone steadily off a cliff. Be warned.

Ain’t all that the truth. Got a friend there now and is desperately trying to leave. He was asked (told to basically) to upgrade to a different aircraft for enhanced scheduling opportunities (to benefit the company) Funny thing is he isn’t even a captain there because new aircraft usually come to people who have left seat time. Word has it others haven been randomly asked and it sounds like it’s the company’s way of trying to prevent people from quitting by locking them into another year long contract. He said no thanks. Scumbags.

It's a bottom feeder company...period! If you go there, build your hours and get out. With the hiring tempo today, there are much better options. Shop around!!!

I find it interesting that WW is in the position he is in. THAT should tell people everything they need to know.

I noticed the increase in per diem. Good luck getting a company paid crew meal when you fly through breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just don't forget the word, "FATIGUE".

Good luck....but DON'T DO IT!!!

Would appreciate any advise and feedback. I know NJ is the top dog, but don’t know much about the schedule and quality of life on the road. The benefits at NJ alone make it seem worth it, FE is **** on health and dental. I wouldn’t mind staying in the 135 environment, just want to find the right place to be. FE is a great company for the most part, the pilots I’ve come across so far are fun to work with. Just the pay and benefits are subpar. Any FE guys at NJ?

Well, a few things...

Comparing the lifestyle of a regional pilot, to a pilot at a major, might be a more comical comparison to FE or Flex lifestyle versus NJA lifestyle.

If you want to make a career flying private jets, no question at all go to NJA. Now if you want to talk major versus NJA, that is another conversation.

WW claimed he was manager of arc facilities etc etc. probably so but the dude talks so fast and tries to give you lip service how great they are at FE. However they took away crew meals, gave you a measly $6 raise in per diem and tell you to order Uber eats on the road. Bye bye per diem. Training contract $30,000.
What lost me was the words “unless you are on fire, we want you to complete the mission even if you have a pressurization issue”
I couldn’t believe it. No backing from management to make a decision as PIC. Measly pay to operate a citation X or excel. If you can get anywhere else, go.

Anyone know how many have turned in notices recently and how many have quit within the last month? Heard it was more then ten. Also curious how many got hired but aren’t showing up for training or quitting before and up to the end of sim training.

Dude, are you serious? the training contract is $30k now??? And with WW talking fast, I can totally believe it. More like selling used cars.

I see the military guy they hired from the local base left within a year. Doesn't surprise me. It's a sinking ship and an unsafe ship.

Everything I have said on this message board is true. I am smoke/fumes in cabin and was yelled at by mgmt as why I wrote it up. My FO showed up COMPLETELY fatigued and MG called me and tried to bargain with me to only do two legs and he would guarantee me off then........ WTF

I think TMC (back in the day) would be a better choice than FE.

Lots of people hiring. Shop around......but avoid FE. Losing pressure and being told to continue......ummmm, that should tell you all you need to know.

Good luck folks!!

Like the Shingles, or Cicadas, UTR IS BACK!!! They have been lurking in the dark all all this time just waiting for any chance to bash his former fellow crewmembers and Team members at flyExclusive. And here is their chance!

UTR's posts should have little bearing on this Forum because you all will notice that the entirety of their 20 posts here on APC (Congratulations, by the way, on hitting that milestone, UTR!), have all been negative attacks on our Company. UTR has spent nearly 1/30th of their lifetime attacking their former friends and coworkers here in his single-minded obsession with hurting flyExclusive... Like the crazy ex, who despite our breakup nearly 3 years ago, is still crashing our wedding, doing hang up calls, and doing creepy drive by's of our house. One must really wonder what trespasses that his former fellow crewmembers and Team Members committed against him to fuel this single-minded obsession about our Company. You will notice that UTR has no other interests or hobbies on this Forum... Nothing like "So what's going on with Atlas/Southern", "How are the Wheels Up mergers going", "How about the RWA and XOJET/Vista merger", etc.. No, none of that. Only "flyExclusive bad.." Obsessed, crazy ex much, UTR? LOL..

On this Forum, you will have at least one person per thread that will SWEAR that Netjets, ATI, Flex, XO/Vista, even UPS, etc. is "garbage to work for and is a bottom feeder", and flyExclusive is no different. As a 6.5 year-old company, we have a long way to go but have come light years in a very short time as far as Company growth, compensation, QOL, etc. But the main thing that I am going to hit you up with is with this following logic: In our pilot ranks, we have retired AA pilots, SWA pilots, UPS pilots, DAL pilots, UAL pilots, F9 pilots, Spirit pilots, Air Force Academy grads, Annapolis grads, decorated Veterans, etc.: Do you really believe that all these pilots have so many exes, boats, planes, houses, and kids that they HAVE to work here and couldn't go anywhere else if things were soooooooo bad here? The answer is that we CHOOSE to work here and obviously enjoy it enough to protect it from trolls like UTR69.

Another important fact is that last year, during the initial part of the Covid-19 Pandemic, our pilots sat home through the entire month of April getting full pay while we sadly watched other pilots get furloughed, terminated, or given 33%, 50% paycuts or forced leave of absences. Does this truly sound like the actions of a "scumbag" or "bottom feeder" Company? I think not. Because of this astute decision by Management (which I'm not a part of, BTW), the Company was sitting there with planes and crews ready to go when the floodgates opened in May and June. We then became a life raft for Spirit, SWA, UAL, XJT, TSA, Republic, Compass, pilots, etc. who had taken the leaves of absence encouraged by or the furloughs declared by their respective airlines. Does anyone else on here find it odd that last year, when flyExclusive was one of the only aviation companies on this PLANET that were growing, adding aircraft, and hiring unemployed Americans (not just pilots), that we never heard a peep from the likes of UTR?!? Only now that things have improved in the Aviation Industry does he decide to make his 20th post on our Forum..

To be absolutely truthful, our detractors on here, even UTR, have their very valid points in their posts, and we will own them since we are not a perfect Company. Like Eminem, who concedes his shortcomings and weaknesses in the final rap battle in 8 Mile, we can acknowledge those changes to things like crew meals, hotels, changes to the Training Contract, etc. were not popular with the pilot group. But again, many of us realize how for the Company has come in such a short time and don't consider these deal-breaker items; We are here for the long game.

Disclaimer: Just like Hair Club for Men, I'm not just a member but also am a.... Line Pilot who helps out with recruiting. As a former 121 Cargo guy, I ask EVERY applicant why they haven't at least considered Part 121 or more established Part 91 K Fractional and Part 135 Companies like NJA, Flex, XO/Vista, or the Wheels Up group. With friends at all these companies, I have a pretty good idea of life there and their compensation/benefit packages and I mention those facts to EVERY applicant that applies here. We are still a fledgling Company in comparison to those awesome ones mentioned above, and don't have the backing of Berkshire Hathaway, Kenny Dichter, or financing from Dubai, so I don't expect that we can yet match their pay/benefits, etc. just as Jet Blue, F9, Spirit, etc. can't yet match AA, UAL, and DL. Or, UPS or FDX, for that matter.

Also, I wanted to mention that I was in new hire with WW, and got to know him pretty well. He wasn't hired into his current position to be "popular", but was hired to make tough calls and standardize the fleets. His work on the Excel fleet was proof enough for me to know that he wanted to make this an airline. During that time, he has cleaned up the pilot ranks and did what he was hired to do... Manage. I am not his sycophant or chief defender, but I know his heart is in the right place. Like me, he does not NEED this job, but loves it.

Finally, this thread started about one of our current pilots who had an interview coming up with

No, none of that. Only "flyExclusive bad.." This smacks of someone who hasn't gotten over their relationship with us and keeps their grudge going years later; They say if you continually vent about someone, that you STILL care... Also, I wanted to mention that I was in new hire INDOC with WW, and got to know him pretty well. He wasn't hired into his current position to be "popular", but was hired to make tough calls and standardize the fleets. Finally, this thread started about one of our current pilots who had an interview coming up with NetJets - The Leader in Private Aviation and who was seeking advice whether to stay here after upgrading soon and head to the Legacies soon after, or to go make a career at NetJets... Any of you all that know me on this Forum know that I have tremendous respect Netjets pilots, NJASAP, and for the sacrifices that NetJets pilots made have helped ALL their fellow pilots through their efforts. Back in 2002, shortly after the tragedies of 09/11/2001, Derinda gave over 60 furloughed freight dog friends of mine a chance to fly again after their respective furloughs. At the time, NetJets wasn't really NetJets of today, and pay and working conditions were pretty tough there. Fast forward to today and look how far that you have come from where you all were less than 20 years ago. At flyExclusive, we aspire to grow and flourish, as well.

Just over 3 years ago, I didn't apply here for some time because of similarly negative posts on this Forum: I am so glad that ignored them, and that I listened to the handful of positive posts about our Company by Amphibian and TiredSoul. I have now been here since March 2018 and I am proud of how far our little Company has come in such a short time. Despite our detractors like UTR, we have continued to grow, hire pilots, and expand to become one of the largest 135 companies out there, shattering our 2023 goals 2 years early. We were also one of the only aviation companies to grow during Covid-19.. But like I tell every prospect that I talk to, keep Netjets and 121 in mind.

Come visit us over on the 135 Forum and much love to the NJASAP pilots. Respect!
