If someone is interested in flying the larger aircraft, how long a wait is that? Is there a two-year seat lock if you do change aircraft? Thanks.

Hey everyone! not to drag this subject into another topic, but I was wondering what the college requirements are for Net Jets? I haven't even started my PPL yet but my goal is to fly for net jets. Their website doesn't list any requirements and I am planning on getting my bachelors(still working on the associates), I was just wondering. Thanks!

Hey, I recently got hired without any degree at all. I am 12 credits away from my BS, and I have over 6,000 Hrs. They do not have an official degree requirement; but obviously it would not hurt at all. Good luck with your adventures, enjoy the ride!

Health benefits are better at NJ as is long term security.
You obviously left BEFORE the 2005 CBA...sucker !

This goes to show you that not everyone will be happy at the same place. I worked at F9 for NJA and wouldn't go back for anything. To each his own

Two important questions.

1) If you were me, 25yrs old, would you hit netjets of Continental? I could live in base with either and I'm just kinda curious.

2)What are upgrades looking like?

3) Can you take golf clubs with you? How long do you stay in any one spot.

Is going to a regional for a few years first a good way to get into net jets?

I left JetBlue for NJA, time will tell if I made the right move or not. There are tons of former NJers at JB so I'm definitely going "against the grain"

I'm impressed with what I've seen so far at NJA.

1) Ask me again in 25 years. In this stupid business, you won't know what the right choice was until you retire. If you're holding the proverbial gun to my head, I'd say Netjets. But that's me.

2) Hired tomorrow, 4-5 years for one of the small fleets (Beechjunk, U-Boat) looks pretty likely at NJA.

3) Sure you can take them with you. But you'll use them, oh, say, once a......decade. 10-14 hours per layover is the norm. A full day someplace usually only when the plane breaks in a remote spot. The longest layover I've ever had in 8 years was 4 days....in Hawaii.

The truth about this is that the JBLUE FLOW stopped after the TA and the folks who left before the TA are not that happy with the move...

Many of them were 3-5 year captains....many took a 70% paycut to go to JBLue...post TA.

Nobody leaving NJA now except for SOUTHWEST, UPS or FEDEX. That be the truth....oh, except for some FO/newhires who aren't on CPT pay.
