Status of NetJets Europe
Hi. First time caller, long time listener.
I was wondering if anyone out there had info on the status of hiring for NetJets Europe? How many to they plan to hire in '08, what quals/experience are they looking for (is fighter time considered competitive?), how is the QOL, etc. Any info would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
AKbum

Check pprune.com, its mainly Europeans on that site, they'll probably be able to asnwer any question you might have. What I hear, they need a lot of pilots, and growing like crazy. They seem to be happy with their QOL and working environment, but not with the pay. I guess the cost of living in Europe is out of control.
If you have all the European paper-work (passport/medical/Certificates), you should have no problems meeting their minimuns.

Be prepared to find out that fighter time is not competitive, only total time. Believe me, I know. If it wasn't for my civilian time, I wouldn't have gotten hired at Netjets, and I had about 1,000 hours military time then. Good Luck!

Double check this, but I think you need an JAL? license, which is pretty extensive/$$ to get, and the proper work visa or EU citizenship, again, which can be difficult I'm told. I've got a bud trying to do it, and he's going to across the country for the medical, and then to Nice for 14!, that's fourteen, practical tests. All in all it's like $10g's.
