I agree. This is really a nice deal if it passes.
I suspect other fractionals are going to suffer as a result, as well. How are they going to be able to keep up? I posed this question in another thread and never did get a solid answer.
If they are going to compete, they are going to have to up the ante. Who would want to work for them if NetJets is highering and they don't? I just don't see anyone in the same fractional universe as NetJets if this contract passes.
Maybe I am missing something, but with the benefits, schedule, pay, bases, ect., ect., ect.; WHO is going to be able to match it and keep them from taking over the fractional market completely?
Cool and scarey at the same time. Cool because it looks like a great job to have. Scarey because they are going to eliminate the competition and own it all and that will be everyones only choice.
To be honest and to the point; this new NetJets contract is a HUGE kick in the nuts for every fractional operator out there.

Is our future going to entail primary flight travel going to fractionals? The same type of service being offered as the 121 operators did before deregulation; point to point service, food, friendly service, employees actually enjoying what they do and many repeat customers because of it?
Far fetched? Possibly, but it seems it is moving that direction. It used to be you needed alot of money to fly and not everyone was able too. Now anyone can fly the majors and only the select can fly the fractionals. Kind of similar to the 70's in a way.

If the gouge available on aviationinterviews.com is to be believed NJA didn't interview from late June until October and they have been interviewing since.
My paperwork went in in July and I got the e-mail for the interview at the beginning of November. Make of that whatever you want.
