Flexjet question
This may be a long shot and wishful thinking, but here it goes anyway.
Flexjet offers relocation assistance, something like $3000 or $4000. Since I already live in one of their Hub locations, would they let me use some of that money to get my ATP? I can't afford to get it on my own, and sadly it will be a long time before I'm able to get it at my current job.
Thanks

As far as I understand it, living in one of the hub cities will exclude you from the relocation assistance. If you are hire without an ATP, you will get it when you do your Type Ride, you can do that,,,but not sure if you will get hire without it, not sure if thats one of the requirements, dont remember. Hope I answered your question.

I was hired a few weeks ago without an ATP (Jan class for the 604), so I would apply without it. However, you will not get the relocation money as I think you have to live more than 90 minutes from base and then move to get the money.

Good job on the offer from Flexjet. The 604 is an awesome aircraft from what I hear - I think you hit the jackpot. Were you offered several aircraft types (i.e., CL300, L45) or just the 604? Was the 605 also on the table?
Thanks

I was offered the Lear 45 initially however I had a prior comitment and couldn't make the ground school date. They were very understanding and put me in the next class, for the 604. The 605 is replacing the 604 and will just require differences training.

At the end of the rotation, if it does not end in Dallas they will fly you back to Houston if it doesn't cost more than flying to Dallas.
Bid six day rotations and only do it three times a month.

Times and types are not as important as who you are - personality is very important. They are all about customer service. Recent class ranges from 3,100 to 16,000+ hours. Most recent plane flown ranged from piston twin to four engine jets. Age from 28 to 60.
