This is a pretty basic question, so bear with me:

I read the 15 and 18 sked details, but is the 7/7 reserve, or a 'you WILL be out of base for 7' thing?

I would plan on being gone for 7 days. You might occasionally get a show at residence (more likely if you're on the 400xp or Ultra), but that is not something I would plan on happening regularly.

Roger that, thanks.

400XP, Encore, Ultra...I think I need to hit Google. I don't know what any of those are- Citations, I think, right? You really get out of touch after 10 yrs. of airline flying!

Hawker-Citation-Citation I think, from soaking up the ambiance for a few months. The cool Citation drivers refer to the Ultra as the "U-boat":D

But, the really cool Citation drivers are "X-rated".

For those of you who are already at NetJets or anyone who has an opinion.....could you please give me some insight as to what the negative sides of a lifetime career at NetJets are compared to a Major 121 Carrier? Thanks for your opinion ;)

You can fly past age 65 if you maintain your medical (I thought I heard that there are a few pilots at Netjets nearing age 70) whereas airline pilots now can fly to age 65. So, your golf game might suffer in the long run...

Yes you can fly past 65. I've been told we have several in their 70s. Just have to pass the FAA physicals.
