15 day is reserve. You will work 15 days or less. You do not have any schedule as of the 1st. 10% of each fleet's pilots WILL be on this schedule. If it goes senior, and you want it junior, you won't get it. If you are junior and no one else bids, you will get it.
At around 1800, they will call U and tell you when to report at the airport the next day (and how long your tour is, I believe). Your tour will be 5 days or less. Or they will call at 1800 and tell u to be on home reserve, ready to leave your home on 30" notice. Or they won't call. U call in to confirm, and they say they have nothing for you, so you are OFF the next day, awaiting the 1800 call the next day.
After working a tour (5 days or less) you will be home for 3 days minimum. If you hit 15 work days, U are done for the month. Guys were speculating you'd work 10-11 days on this schedule.
You make 10% more on this schedule. For vacation, you use 5 days min, and they will add 4 days to it, so your min vacation is 9 days.
18 day is preferential bid: Long blocks of days at home, min days of blocks working, certain days off, etc., etc. By the 15th, your schedule will come out for the next month. You will work 18 days. Your max tour length is 7 days (if u go 7, I believe you get 5 off), and your min day off block is 3. You MAY get one 8 day tour, once every bid period (4 months). Vacation is described above. This is the most work days, so the most pay ($59 base Yr 1). UP TO 40% of the fleet's pilots can be on this schedule. If you want off, the company only has to release 10% for the next bid period, so, theoretically, you could be junior manned if you want off.

Gotta correct you on that one. Vacation is taken in blocks of 1 week (except for first year service, where it is prorated). On the 15 day flex or 18 day fixed, the company will provide you with a minimum of 15 consecutive off days (4 lead in, and 4 lead out), unless of course you are in your first year of service, in which case you will get your prorated vacation plus the 8 extras added on.

The base pay is 69K for 18, 62K for 15 day and 56K for 7/7, for year 1 FO.

Starting Year 2 you get 14 days on the 7/7 schedule. You can get up to 5 weeks off (5x7), if you stay long enough.
If you're on 18 or 15 do you get 10 days off 5 and 5, or do you also get 14: 7 and 7???

Vacation is earned by years of service:
1-4 yrs: 2 weeks
5-9 yrs: 3 weeks
10+ yrs: 4 weeks
The actual dates are bid annually, based on seniority.
If you're working the 7&7 schedule, you get a minimum of 21 consecutive days off for each week of vacation used.
If you're on the 18-day or 15-day schedules, you are given a minimum of 15 consecutive days off for each week of vacation used. Four days prior, followed by the 7 vacation days, then 4 days after. The actual vacation days used count toward the 18 or 15 maximum days worked in that month. I'm thinking you can combine PTO days with that for a longer stretch, but I didn't look that one up to be sure, so don't quote me.
You can also choose to take up to two vacation periods back-to-back, which works out to a minimum of 35 consecutive days off for 7&7 schedules, or 22 days for the 18 and 15-day schedules.

You gotta love the fact that if you have more than 10 years of service you can take 4 calendar weeks off which translates into a potential 12 weeks off (in four increments) per year if you are on 7/7 - that ain't bad.
