Military equator for fractionals
Hey all
I know that NetJets multiplies military Total Time by 1.2, for their military equator. Southwest I think uses 1.3. Does anyone here know if any of the other fractionals uses such an equator, and if so what is it? Thanks |
Does anyone have any information about NetJets International? Are they hiring, pay, schedule, etc.

Military Time Conversion
Companies will specify what conversion...if any you can use. Most use a conversion 0.2 hrs per SORTIE, so you have to calculate a average sortie duration and do some maths. I have an Excel program that once set up will do it automatically for you.

Will you please PM me and let me know what you found out about PIT reserves... thanks |
PIT Reserves
BengalsFan,
I have never PM someone on this site...fairly new...how does it work? What information would you like to know...I will try and help you out. Break/Break... Yes Netjets International will be hiring this year...how many depends on actual aircraft delivery...which is changing due to aircraft going to Europe. Starting salary is in the 75-80K range :D |

I don't know how you did it, but you turned your PM off... go under your profile to adjust that I think. But you can PM my by simply clicking on my blue highlighted name under the date stamp on the right side, then you will find a option for Private Message. Thanks |
Private Messages
OK...I may have missed the boat on this one? How do you enable/disable using private messages?
|
You (we) do not have PM capability until we have 25 posts.
|
Thanks For the Info
I will have to catch up on postings so I can send PM messages :D
Until that time...I will be happy to give what ever help I can. For those military types looking for jobs in AETC reserves...I am your man or atleast I can tell you who to contact. |

Basically my question is: Are there openings to teach PIT as a full time or traditional reservist?
|
PIT Openings for Reservists
Bengalsfan,
It is very difficult to go directly to PIT as a Reservist...ther is an unwritten rule that you have to pay your dues as a UPT IP before coming to PIT...Full time jobs (AGR) well you have to practicaly kill someone for :D I have alot of contacts in this world and I don't think this will change soon. If you are willing to sepnd a few years as a part timer at a UPT base..a PIT slot will open up. |
T-1A Guy,
You're probably my best bet on getting some info, as AFPC seems to take forever on replies. Any idea on how hard it is to get a reservist slot flying for the Academy? Specifically their Twin-Otters? Anyone specific I should talk to? Also, I've seen that Randolph has T-43's for nav training. Any idea on who flies those and how to inquire about that job? Thanks for any help, PTWOB P.S.- Don't worry about the PM thing......it's still beyond me as well  |
PTWOB
I know the twin Otter program is a little tougher to get...just because of the number of airplanes vs. the number of pilots they need. I do have a friend up at the academy in the glider world and I will ask him the question this week. Randolph T-43...mostly flown by civilian contractors with a few slots for active duty pilots. If you can get the slot...its a good deal for a 737 type. I know the MAJCOM T-43 guy pretty well and will ask him the question i.e. is there a slot opeing. |
