Question on TAG Aviation
#2
Tag seems like a good company to work for. They have a lot of planes based all around the country. What I know is what I read off of www.tagaviation.com You've probably already seen the site but if not there is some good info on there.
Here are the requirments, pretty high
Total Time, All Aircraft: 4,000 hours
Category (fixedwing/rotorwing): 2,000 hours PIC
Class (MEL): 1,500 hours PIC
Actual Instrument: 300 hours
Turbine: 1,000 hours
Turbojet: 500 hours PIC
Good Luck
Chris

It varies depending on the aircraft owner. Its very typical of a part 91 oriented company. A lot of the aircraft are on the 135 cert but don't really fly any charter, some fly a TON of charter.
My point is that just because someone has a "TAG job", and their paycheck comes from TAG, and their marching orders come from TAG dispatch... well, in reality we all know the golden rule. (for those not keeping up: "he who has the gold, makes the rules"). They are at the beckon call of the owner of the airplane they fly.
