How long from sending in your app can you expect a call?

I'd say it depends on the type of experience you bring to the table...

I second that.

Some dudes get a call about a month after applying. I hear some guys say 4-6 months

I mailed in my app in early January and just received it back last week because I forgot to check one box. I don't know what that means, but it will give you some sort of timeframe.

I have 4000TT and around 2600 jet without PIC.
Thanks Eagle!

Internal recs are very helpful in reducing the time. But, as one friend said " I can help you get the interview, but I have no influence on the process after that. AS IT SHOULD BE." (My emphasis) He is a VP at the company.

I sent my app in in beginning of February, got the email interview offer about 4 weeks later. I had two internal Captain LOR's, and one emailed hiring dept. also, which is what I think allowed me to get the interview so fast. I think LOR's are a must, and if you can get them to go to bat for you with emails that will also be very helpful. I interview in 2 days. So about 7 weeks total for me app to interview. Very lucky I think. 7000TT with 1250 part 121 PIC.

According to the director of training, the most points LOR's can give you is 3. that is 1 for knowing you, 1 for working with you and 1 for flying with you. According to him, multiple LOR's don't help. Not sure what the rest of your qualifications will give you in the way of points but that is what was said about LOR's.

My app was delivered Jan. 31 and is "under review." So I'm still waiting for the official received notice. I had one LOR at this point.
