Edit, not worth it.

Anyone here anything about a class? I got an email that said we should hear this week.

terryhflyer 08-18-2008 08:25 PM

I just got the call for a Sept. 8th CJ3 class in Orlando followed by a Sept. 29th indoc class. I was told that there was going to be 4 CJ3s and 4 Sovereigns. Anyone else get called?

Congrats Terry,

Was there any mention of any classes to follow? Were you given any preference?

Cheers, Tweet

Thanks Tweet. He did not say anything about future classes and did not offer me a choice on the type of aircraft.

Great job with the CJ3 - it's an awesome airplane from what I hear. Very capable with a fantastic flight deck set-up with the ProLine 21 (arguably better than the Primus Epic in the Sovereign). Plus, you'll fly shorter flights in the CJ3 (although they can fly longer flights with its range) and avoid "flat a$$" with 5+ hour flights.

Here are some good pictures of the CJ2/CJ3 (same Pro Line 21 cockpit):

You can also track where the CJ3s and the rest of the fleet fly and layover. Look for C25Bs (CJ3s):

The CJ3 cockpit certainly is tighter than the A318/319 but the Sovereign is not much wider (and you spend more time in the Sovereign cockpit on longer flights). It should be fun to fly with great performance. Have fun!

Got a call for Indoc on the 29th followed by Sovereign training. No words on other class dates.

A hardy congrats on the indoc date and for being selected for Sovereign training. I'm sure you will enjoy the airplane and the mission. Please keep us informed about how goes the training (for all of those who are hoping to be as lucky as you!) ;)

Yeah, what he said!! Seriously congrats. Would love to hear how things are going and what you think about the Sovereign. Still not even sure what I hope to get.
